Grandma Paisley is "Sweet 16"!
On June 26th, 2006 Paisley celebrated her 16th birthday. She had breakfast in bed then spent the day
lounging on her paisley bed in the living room. She received several phone calls, cards in the mail, and emails from
coast to coast sending her birthday wishes. She is the proud mom of 13 champions, grandma of 31 champions, and great
grandma of 3 champions!

| A birthday kiss for her "Mom"! |
It is with a heavy heart and empty soul that I write this note. Today, Nov 29 around 5pm I said my
final goodbye to my beloved Paisley Marie. I brought her into this world with her first breath and I held her in
my arms for her final breath, 16 years, 5 months and 3 days later. She simply died of old age. Her bloodwork
showed normal for everything, her heart and lungs were strong, but her poor little body was just worn out and tired.
These past 7 months she fought hard for me, but today she looked in my eyes and let me know she just couldn't do it any longer.
My "Mama Paize" left me a legacy and took me places I never dreamed I would go. She gave me friends that I will always
cherish and memories I will hold dear in my heart and strong in my soul forever. Paize has gone on to join her old friends;
Jill, Velvet, Blitz, Rocket, Chief, and Flash to name a few. I know our paths will cross once again, but until then,
there will be a place in my heart void of feeling until I can once again embrace my special lady and put my cheek against
her velvet soft ear and whisper to her how much I love her.....
